Harvey Singh is the visionary CEO and founder of Instancy, a pioneering AI-Agent Learning and Performance Support Platform company. With an impressive three decades of experience under his belt, Harvey has become a stalwart in designing cutting-edge learning platforms, assembling high-performance teams, and providing strategic advice to global learning and development organizations on leveraging Generative AI-based learning platforms for maximum impact.
His expertise extends into the advisory realm as well, having contributed his insights to esteemed eLearning standards organizations such as the Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) initiative and the IMS Global Learning Consortium. Harvey’s innovative leadership in the eLearning sector was recognized in 2001 when he was nominated for the prestigious eLearning Executive of the Year award.
Before founding Instancy, Harvey was the driving force behind MindLever, where he served as the visionary and principal architect. At MindLever, he spearheaded the creation of the industry’s first system dedicated to rapid interactive content authoring, management, and personalization. This system leveraged pioneering learning object and dynamic content delivery methodologies, setting new benchmarks for the eLearning industry.
MindLever’s groundbreaking work did not go unnoticed, earning the Intrepid Company of the Year award in 2001 from The Council for Entrepreneurial Development in North Carolina. Harvey’s entrepreneurial journey also includes co-founding Empower Corporation, an online learning product design and development outsourcing company. At Empower Corporation, he was instrumental in introducing innovative approaches in simulations, games, performance support, and story-based learning environments, further cementing his reputation as a leader in the field.
Harvey’s holds a Master’s degree in both Computer Science and Education from Stanford University, alongside an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University. His career in learning technology commenced at Apple Classrooms of Tomorrow (ACOT) in 1991, an initiative by Apple Computer that sought to revolutionize education through technology.
